SPOOKY TREATS

I have seen quite a few tutorials for these sour cream treat holders on SCS, but have never attempted to make them before. I could not believe how easy these were to assemble. I made quite a few of them for our Halloween party on Friday. The sentiment is part of a set from Whimsie Doodles, you can find them to the right of my blog.

Scott, the girls and I are totally excited for our party. We still have some decorating to do before Friday and Caitlin is making Scott's and my costume. I will have to post pics after Friday night. She came up with our costume idea and we are letting her run with it. Stay tuned to see what we end up as.

FRANK-INVITES

Isn't "Frank" just adorable? I found this cute idea over at SCS. They have several examples of this little guy being used as cards, treat bags and luminary boxes. I couldn't resist using him as a quick to make invite for the Halloween party we are putting on in a few weeks.

I used my coluzzle to make all of the circles for the eyes, cutting one of the circles in half for the eyelids and I used my SU round tab punch (which I cut in half) for the nose. A few quick squiggles with my black marker and he is already to go.

BOO AVENUE - LO

In the spirit of Halloween I thought I would post a Halloween LO that I did a little while ago. The photos were taken at a "Monster Pizza Night" party that our family was fortunate enough to be invited to. All of the kids come in costume (I'm the big kid dressed as a bunny...LOL) and they make their own personal pizzas, using the toppings to make monster faces. It was a lot of fun and a very clever party idea.

The spooky house was created using a paper piecing pattern from Copy Cats. Thanks for stopping by.
